Teeth whitening

As we age, our teeth tend to become more discolored. Beverages such as coffee, tea and wine also don’t help. Lucking, Boisson Dental Group in Grande Prairie offers professional bleaching and teeth whitening services for you. This is actually a fairly quick and easy procedure. We simply apply a whitening gel to your teeth, which remains on for 15 minutes. When removed, the gel lifts off surface stains to reveal a whiter, brighter smile. This treatment is far more effective and long lasting than drug-store whitening kits.

Invisalign

At the mention of braces, what comes to mind for most people is a kid with a big metal brackets. Invisalign has revolutionized the way we correct the alignment of the teeth, and is safely and effectively used by patients of all ages. The Invisalign system utilizes clear aligners to gradually shift the teeth into place. The Invisalign system is just as effective as metal braces, and more discreet and comfortable for the wearer.

Dental implants

A dental implant consist of an artificial root made of titanium metal. The metal root is implanted into the gum line where the missing tooth used to be. Dental implants are usually done in about two or three visits. During the first visit, the dentist will place the dental implant into the jawbone beneath the gum tissue. Once the gum line has healed and the implant is successfully bonded to the jawbone, a custom-created prosthetic tooth wtih be affixed to the titanium post. Dental implants are designed to closely mimic the look and function of natural teeth, and are a permanent solution for patients who are missing one or more teeth.
